What a unique mixture of the very old and the very new. It looks different than I imagined it. What body of water was in most of the pictures? You look well, we are very pleased to see that.
It's the Mediterranean. Alexandria is on the northern coast of Egypt. Other parts of the country might fit what you imagined a little better, especially once I make it out the desert and post some pics.
